Trisha Yearwood is set to release her first new studio album in five years, and she previewed her new project during an intimate performance at Nashville’s Bluebird Cafe on Wednesday (February 12). The three-time Grammy winner and two-time CMA Female Vocalist of the Year will soon share her as-yet-untitled album, which marks the first time in her career that she has co-written and co-produced each song. Yearwood was joined at the Bluebird by her co-writers Chad Carlson, Erin Enderlin, Leslie Satcher, Sunny Sweeney, and Bridgette Tatum. Yearwood has also announced a seven-city theater tour that runs from April 30 to May 17, which will highlight tracks from the new album, and will also be a guest on The Kelly Clarkson Show on February 21, where she will perform her new song, “The Wall or the Way Over.” Yearwood is also set to appear on NBC’s Opry 100: A Live Celebration on March 19. Tickets for her tour will go on sale on February 21. (Billboard)
