Old Dominion recently wrapped up their historic seven-concert residency at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. Over the course of these memorable run of shows, the country band raised an impressive $1.2 million for seven different charities: MusiCares, Save the Music, Backline Care, Opry Trust Fund, CMA Foundation, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and The Ramsey Foundation. These shows were aptly titled the 7 for 7 Residency, with Old Dominion marking their seven consecutive wins as CMA’s Group of the Year. The country stars also set a new record for most consecutive shows at the Ryman, where they were joined by special guests Bear Rinehart from NEEDTOBREATHE, Steven Wilson Jr., Phil Vassar, ERNEST, and The War & Treaty. The group also teased a major upcoming tour announcement. “At a time when charitable organizations are doing more with less, we all felt it was really important to support organizations that we know take care of people who need it,” said Old Dominion’s Matthew Ramsey.
